[M]Botanicals Product Review

Hi everyone!
The lovely Bexy from [M]Botanicals sent me a couple of her products to review. She sent me a Gentle Enzyme Cleansing Powder and a Rejuvenating Facial Elixir. Both these products came in very professional looking bottles which I think is a great idea as it gives you confidence that the products you are using are of high quality and ingredients. The smell of both of these products are gorgeous! Again, they smell expensive. Like the products you are using are of high quality, which is very reassuring to know that you're doing your skin some good! The size of the bottles Bexy sent me and the amount you need to use means that these products will last for months, which is great as they are definitely affordable!

So onto the cleanser. The bottle says that 'this free flowing powder will gently refresh and rejuvenate the skin leaving it smooth and clean. Highly moisturising Argan and Coconut will moisturise and hydrate, while Papaya enzyme papain will gently exfoliate and freshen. Chamomile is a powerful anti-inflammatory while Rose and Geranium beautifies the skin and give a wonderful floral scent.'
This product was definitely soft on the skin and didn't feel at all sticky or drying like some cleansers you get do. It went on lovely and the recommended 1/2 teaspoon powder mixed with water was definitely enough to cover the whole face and neck. The way this product feels on the face, you know that you're using good quality ingredients and the result after just one use was astonishing, none of the usual oily or dry patches!

Next the Rejuvenating Facial Elixir. The bottle says 'Linoleic rich prickly pear seed oil deeply moisturises the skin, penetrates quickly and protects from the elements. Rose hip rich in trans-retinoic acid and blackcurrant high in omega 3 stearidonic acid firms and regenerates. Light enough for all skin types but particularly suited to mature skin.'
About 5 drops of this moisturiser was enough to cover the whole face and neck and soaked into the skin nicely. Although, because this moisturiser is an oil I would recommend this to be a night time moisturiser as I don't think makeup would go on very well after use. That being said, the skin felt beautiful and really well moisturised afterwards, definitely what is needed these days with so much pollution in the environment clogging up our pores!

Overall, these products are gorgeous and definitely worth the price! I would highly recommend you check out [M]Botanicals and don't hesitate to contact Bexy as she is lovely to talk to and really helpful!

March Favourites!

Hi everyone!
I thought I would do a March favourites as there are a few products that I have been absolutely loving this month..

The first product that I have been using a lot of this March is the Intense Care Baby Lips by Maybelline which I bought from Superdrug for £2.99. It was also buy one get one half price so I also bought the Hydrate one aswell. I keep the Hydrate one in my handbag and this Intense Care one in my makeup bag so I can put it on every morning. I am so prone top dry lips all year round and I have definitely noticed an improvement since using these lip balms.

My second favourite product I have been loving is the Olay Beauty Fluid. I also bought this from Superdrug. I think it was about £3.99 but I can't be sure. I bought this because my skin has been really dry and dehydrated lately and I hadn't really been using a moisturiser (I know, naughty me!) so when I saw how pretty this bottle was, the cheap price and that it was for dry skin, I just had to get it. I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin, although I've completely changed my skin care routine so I can't solely put the improvement down to just this product although I'm sure it will have contributed.

Next is the Nivea Powerfruit Refresh shower gel. I bought this last year and absolutely adored the smell but for some reason never bought it again. Then my Mother-In-Law put some in my Christmas hamper off her and I've only just gotten round to using it and my love for this product has been renewed! I often see it in Asda for £1 so I will definitely be buying it again once it runs out.

I've also been loving this Vitamin E Face Mist which was £8 from The Body Shop. It says that it is perfect for setting makeup so I spritz a couple of sprays on my face first thing in the morning and it is such a nice refreshing wake up call! It is also made with rose water so its not too harsh on the face.

Lastly is this Eyeshadow Primer from Avon. Although I don't usually wear eyeshadow, I heard recently that you aren't supposed to wear foundation on your eyelids as there are no pores on the eyelids so the foundation doesn't set and just goes oily. I had noticed this, often there would be a line of foundation along the crease of my eye. So I've started putting this Eyeshadow Primer on my eyelids instead and have noticed that I don't get this oily crease anymore.

So there are my five favourite products that I have been using in March! Thanks for reading :)

Treasure ReCraft, Lavender Shell Candle ¦ Review

Hi everyone!
So sorry I've been a bit AWOL lately, I have been so busy with work and such things. You know how life gets! Anyways...

The gorgeous Susannah from Treasure ReCraft sent me this beautiful candle to review. I wasn't sure what to expect when Susannah sent me this in the post as she told me that she was sending me a candle that was not featured on her shop and I was pleasantly surprised when this came! It is so cute and unique.
With it being inside a shell it gives it that unique feel to it and the scent is just amazing. Really strong and pure, just what you want in a scented candle! I'm such a huge candle lover and I hate it when you get a scented candle and you can't even smell it at all. I definitely did not have this problem with this gorgeous candle. Lavender is also my absolute favourite scent so I was overly excited about the fact I had been sent a lavender candle to review.
Whats even better about Susannah's shop is that the environment is really important to her so where she can she tries to use recycled products or any old and unwanted items, to give them a new lease of life. I think that this is such a great basis for any shop and it definitely encourages you to do the same thing, especially when we live in such a wasteful world. So by buying from Susannah you are not only getting a great quality product made completely for you, but you're helping the environment in a way too!
The most popular products on Susannahs online shop are the teacup candles which I think are adorable. She has other scents too which include, vanilla, ocean mist, strawberry, fresh cut roses, cranberry and cinnamon. All sounding as delicious as each other! Many of the scents Susannah uses are essential oils and not alcohol based.

I was so impressed with this cute little candle, it was made to such high quality that I would definitely like to buy from Treasure ReCraft again. I would definitely recommend you all take a look at her shop. Susannah sells other items too from candles, to greetings cards, to bunting. Everything homemade!

You can also check out the shops facebook page here, too.
